3rd place in the ICISTS 2024 Hackafair @ KAIST, 7-11 August 2024.

KKEUN-KKEUN draws its name from a Korean adjective that describes a close, tightly knit bond. Under the theme Reconnect Society, we proposed a social platform designed to facilitate connections amongst neighbours in the large apartment complexes of the Korean residential landscape. Our goal was to enhance the functionality and convenience of group chats and forums.

The key feature was an AI assistant that suggested neighbours for leisure activities or support during emergencies, and a small-talk prompt (with built-in safeguards to protect users against privacy violations and malicious use). During the demo day, we gathered data from participants and visitors at the event. Using this data, the system successfully identified individuals people could connect with and potentially befriend during the fair.

As the designer of the team, I created the logo and the app screens, in addition to the concept of the project.
